The seven gardens of Jokai in Assam and West Bengal encompass a total grant area of 7,010 hectares (larger than the size of Manhattan, NY),
produce over 7 million kgs of high quality, loose leaf Orthodox and CTC tea annually (the equivalent of 3.5 billion cups)
and employ over 12,000 local workers (60% of which are women).
